2002 Peugeot 307 model, cannot start at all, it crank alright but cannot start. after hocking x431 launch scanner to the car, it brought up a lot of permanent fault and secondly the wiper kept swinging on the screen even though i have not touch the control on the steering while, and you cannot put it off as well, and the tail lights are on, when i scan the immo unit, there is no code from there... below are the report from the scan:

*permanent fault communication on the wire data with the top of steering- column ecu.

*permanent fault oil temperature sensor. short circuit to positive.

*permanent fault communication on wire data with the rain sensor.

*permanent fault right side lamp control.

*permanent fault courtesy lamp control.

* permanent fault communication with the airbag ecu.

*Permanent fault communication with the engine wiring housing.

*Permanent fault left lamp short circuit to positive.
permanent fault boot lighting open circuit
permanent fault courtesy light open circuit.
permanent fault the outside temperature sensor short circuit

*ultrasound sensor-- intermittent fault
*remote intermittent fault .absence of communication with the built in systems interface.

According to me, it seems that everything coming from the steering wheel doesn't communicate anymore with the rest of the car.
First check the main wire from the steering wheel.
Then check the Comodo (maybe dead)?
Did you repair something?
Or does the car come from a garage check?

did you test your battery ? Maybe it is freak ?
It is usually to have this kind of problem in that case.

yes sir, the battery which is on the car is new, and fully charged, even i have another one bought today for extra test carry out... so my batteries are all fine and have enough charges in them, as soon as you insert the key and turns the key to on position, the wiper blade begins to mode on the wind screen without stopping, and the tail lights are both on, for the brakes... now when you tried to use the wiper switch to put off the wiper, it wont put off...

It's very strange but the symptoms shows an electrical problem.

Is the cosses of battery are in good contact with it.
You may have a mass somewhere or mass of the battery is not good
You can try this by relyng the car engine to the body of the car with an electrical cable (bigger is better)

anyway, do you think the bis fuse board under the steering might be faulty, even though all the lights on the cluster or dashboard is on, and the wiper on the windscreen keeps moving, there is nothing that can turn it off, when you tried to turn it off, with it switch, it is not... and the tail lights all are on... and the engine crank but cannot start.., do you have the fuse board in the engine, label, whereby it shows where should should be and where fuse should not be...

It looks like you have a short circuit somewhere (90% sure).

First thing I'd try would be to disconnect the com2000 and try to start the engine.

the com2000, is it the fuse board under the steering wheel, or the wiper switch?

Okay, thank you, i will launch attack dismantle on that assembly and see, what would be the effect, taking the wiring off from it, would it cause the car to START up if i may ask? or changing it direct is fine..
