Hello , i need to reboot BSI to repair some fault,,

I want to clarify points 5,6,7,9 in the following steps

Before sending the unit try the BSI Reset procedure as this may cure your faults:
1- Put the driver's window down, lift the bonnet and ensure all equipment is switched off.

2- Ensure all doors are closed and remove key from the ignition.

3- Wait for 3 minutes, disconnect the vehicle battery and wait 15 seconds.

4- Reconnect the vehicle battery, wait a further 10 seconds (do not open doors.).

5- Switch on the side lights through the driver's window.

The side lights are the flashing lifgt when i turn left or right ? the button with triangle ? or which button ?

6- Switch on the ignition and check system's functionality.

Does it mean to put key and turn it for steps only with out turning on the engine ? then i check the system functionality from screen with the buttons in the cassette ?

7- Hold lock button on key down for 10 seconds.

which one is this button ? the one beside the trinagle button which lock all the car doors ?

8- Remove key open & close door test central locking system.

9- Start the engine and complete the system's check.

how to make system check ?

Hello ladanow,

please follow that & ignore the previous procedure :

- Switch off everything and open the door driver
- Wait 3/5 minutes
- Disconnect the battery
- Wait 5 minutes
- Reconnect the battery
- Wait 2 minutes
- Start the engine

This procedure's OK for several members here
